Work Experience:
Prior experience working in a clinical blood bank or transfusion service, preferably within a hospital environment Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related biological/chemical science License:
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (NYS – CLS/MT) issued by NYSED Certifications:
ASCP (or equivalent) certification preferred—or SBB specialty certification for Blood Banking preferred
