Job Summary
The Litigation Chief An experienced litigator, senior attorney with at least 10 years solid experience in state and federal court, including multiple trials to manage extensive firm commercial portfolio in our five offices and also maintain an individual group of clients. This requires thorough understanding of procedure to guide litigation strategy and ensure client Responsiveness. Candidate will be expected to take over some cases in active litigation. This is a key position in our organization. Will report directly to the partner of the firm.

Duties

Manage and supervise all litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, with a focus on precision and clarity.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations across various areas of law including estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and personal injury law.
Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
Mentor junior attorneys and provide training on legal research techniques and litigation strategies.
Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases or the firm's practice areas.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar association; active license to practice law is required.
Significant experience in litigation with a proven track record of successful case management across multiple areas of law.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.
Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
