Job Title: First Assist Surgical Technologist

License: Licensed Certified Surgical Assistant
Certifications: Certification as a Surgical Assistant is required

Experience in all surgical specialties excluding open heart
DaVinci Robot expertise
Mako Robot expertise
Description:
General comments about the position, including unit specifics, are as follows:
The surgical unit consists of 6 operating rooms.
The patient ratio and unit staffing will depend on the specific procedures being conducted.
Available equipment includes DaVinci Robot, Mako Robot, and CORI Robot.
Documentation is performed using an electronic system.
Scheduling requirements include 8 or 10-hour shifts on weekdays.
On-call duties may be required as needed.
Floating among units may be a part of the role.
Experience in patient care is essential.
The types of procedures performed include general, gynecology, and urology surgeries, as well as total hips/knees, spine surgeries, and C-sections.
Advanced skills are necessary for this position.
The facility provides scrubs as the required uniform.
The unit has specific guidelines and policies that are to be followed.
