Purpose of the Role

We are conducting a strict and selective search for a Commercial Insurance Placement Specialist within our Commercial Lines department. This position is a technical role responsible for managing the marketing and placement process for renewals and new business. The individual must bring strong insurance knowledge, analytical ability, and accuracy in execution. We are open to hiring at either the Marketing Specialist or Senior Marketing Specialist level, depending on experience. Candidates who demonstrate advanced placement ability, strong carrier relationships, and independent execution skills may be considered for the senior title.

The ideal candidates will:

Have at least 3 years of commercial insurance marketing experience (5+ for senior-level consideration).
Understand the marketing process from start to finish, including renewal strategy, coverage comparison, and binding.
Be proactive, analytical thinkers who can identify and explain differences between coverage forms.
Be comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and carrier partners.
Show evidence of critical thinking and accuracy in prior work history, not just years of experience.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel.
3+ years experience in the insurance industry specifically in marketing required.
NYS P&C License is required.
Insurance Industry designation or advanced training preferred

Compensation details: 67000-87500 Yearly Salary
