Job Description
Computer World Services Corp. (CWS) is seeking qualified candidates to support an engineering effort in the National Capital Region (NCR). The work scope is to plan, design, test, build, implement, deploy, and transition Information Technology (IT) solutions to meet various customer requirements in the NCR. Selected candidates will provide customers with seamless transitions to leading edge solutions which meet security requirements and provide operations and maintenance for development and test environments and provide specialized support for mission specific systems and applications.
The PD2 Administrator serves as team's single point of contact PD2 Administration
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Administer and manage the PD2 software vSR16 for several server and client systems
Administer and secure operating systems to comply with DISA STIGs
Administer network configurations
Maintain desktop firewalls
Collaborate, coordinate and communicate regarding PD2 administration and management

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience

Bachelor's in science degree in Computer Engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, or 5 recent years of documented experience relevant to this key position.
Experience in managing the PD2 software vSR16 for several server and client systems, to include knowledge in future versions
Experience working in the following:
1. Sybase ASE 16.0 or higher
2. Windows environment on Server 2016 or later, and Windows 10 or later operating systems environments
3. Applications/systems in clustered environments
4. Securing Operating Systems to comply with DISA STIGs; network experience configuring and maintaining desktop firewalls
Must have excellent communication skills

Certifications

PD2 and PD2 Adapter
CompTIA Security +, or higher

Security Clearance

Active DOD security clearance (SECRET)

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

Onsite support within government facilities located across the National Capital Region (NCR)
